SAN VITO LO CAPO - from 24th to 29th of September 2013

The Cous Cous Fest is the Festival of cultural integration, an important event since 1997, it involves in its party atmosphere all the countries of the
Euro-Mediterranean area and more. Next edition of this Festival will take place in San Vito Lo Capo from the 24th to the 29th of September 2013.
Undisputed character of the event is the Cous Cous itself, a dish full of history, a simbol interpreted and culturally contaminated over the years and
cultures. The most important moment will be the international culinary challenge in which chefs from all over the world will compete.
All of this in the breathtaking environment of the sailor village with its warm weather, the colour and the beauty of beach is the perfect location
to extend a little bit your relaxing summer holiday. The Festival is a chance of parting through tastes, important culinary challenges, shows
and performances of international performer on the Cous Cous Fest stage

"Tempo ri Capuna"- Dedicated exposition to fishing and blue fish fishing

SAN VITO LO CAPO - from 20th to 22nd of September 2013

Dedicated exposition to fish and particular attention on the blue fish fishing.
"Tempo ri Capuna", in San Vito Vulgar is the time of wealth, the wealth season, the right moment.
Between August and December is the time when the "caponi" are fished, near the San Vito's coast and modern fishing techniques.
An ending summer event for discovering, once again, stories and legends about fishing and the sea, an opportunity to taste and smell blue fish.
The last words belong to wise San Vito restaurant chefs, for letting taste refined menus, renovating an ancient and tasty tradition.
The said exposition is oriented to the discovery of stories ans legends linked to fishing, but at the same time will be the chance for an
incredible tasting of different typologies of blue fishes: from anchovies to mackerels and so on. Not forgotten the Capone, the Exposition main character.

Paceco, Museo del Sale - from 14th to 15th of September 2013

Culinary show that takes place entirely inside the reserve of saltwork area of Trapani and Paceco.
An international window for the Province of Trapani, a long weekend that mixes culture, traditions and tastes.

Two intense days to live through guided tours, tastes, show-market of typical products, conferences, shows and traditional salt harvest.
